PERSOANLIZED ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT TRAINING
BEST FOR: Athletes ages 11 and up
How This Program Works: After going through an initial assessment and goal-setting orientation, we create a workout program that is unique to each individual’s development needs, sport or position needs, injury history, age, current workload, and personal goals.
In this program athletes follow their own workout routine but are training with other athletes at the same time, sharing the facility in a ‘Group Personal Training’ style to increase the energy of the session and keep costs reasonable for families.
“My son had an unusual injury this year with his shoulder. He was worried that he would not be able to continue with the program and get ready for the upcoming football season. That was not the case. My wife and I explained the situation to Jim and he was more than accommodating with his training to go hand and hand with his physical therapist. Thanks to the program “J” is ready for the season and in camp right now.
Both of my kids are more committed now to working out and doing it correctly. I feel that the program stresses to the person training that there is a correct way of working out and an incorrect way. I am confident that no matter where my two kids train – at school, home, or the gym – they will use the program and techniques from Power Source and get the most from that work out.
And when you can get an 11 and 14 year old out of bed in the summer at 6:00 AM to work out, you know they’re getting something out of it and enjoying it! I would recommend this program to all athletes to get the most out of what sport you are in. I would like to thank Jim again for his commitment and time to the kids and the program.“

“The drills in Jim’s program helped my balance, coordination, speed and power. With the guidance he provided and my commitment to the program, it helped me earn a Division I college football scholarship.”

CHAMPION ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM
Our training system has been successfully field-tested on more than 20,000 young athletes and youth fitness participants throughout the world and is regarded as the most complete and comprehensive program available.
BEST FOR: Kids ages 6 to 9 and 10 to 13
How This Program Works: Champion development classes take on more of a team training format. Our Champions work to master movement skills from basic to more complex activities that improve speed, coordination, strength and resistance to injury.
In this program Champions follow a 9-Level Development System that begins in our Discovery (Age 6-9) Class and increases in difficulty as participants get older. This system is set up similar to the ‘belt system’ used in many martial arts programs.
The Athletic Revolution ‘Developmental Training Model’ has been successfully tested all over the world and is based on the following structure:
Discovery (Ages 6 – 9) – Creating A Champion
The purpose of this phase is to introduce participants to a wide spectrum on non-specific exercise stimulus that aids in the natural development of coordination habits.
Athletic Revolution Coaches utilize the principle of ‘Outcome-Based Coaching’ which allows young participants to learn the physical skills of excercise through an experimental and self-discovery based means.
Exploration (Ages 10 – 13) – Transitioning To Champion
Not unlike the ‘Discovery’ phase of the Athletic Revolution Developmental Model, ‘Exploration’ is based on young participants establishing ‘athletic intelligence’ through a carefully planned programming structure that allows them to learn and comprehend both simple and complex motor skills via explorative play.
Unlike ‘Discovery’ however, ‘Exploration’ also includes an educational portion within which Athletic Revolution Coaches breakdown and instruct participants on specific aspects of exercise execution.
This transitional phase allows young participants to bridge the gap from a play model of fitness to a more programmatic structured version.
Transformation (Ages 14+) – Becoming A Champion
The ‘Transformation’ phase is where more concerted training application takes place. Whether the goal is sporting excellence, fitness, wellness or obesity prevention, this portion of the Athletic Revolution Developmental Model is based on solid execution and fundamental training habits so that each participant can maximize their respective goals.
“Training with Athletic Revolution has been one of the best decisions that I have made for my athletic career so far. There knowledge of strength training as well as the energy and passion they bring have propelled me to achieve many of my athletic goals. My confidence in the training techniques couldn’t be any higher, and I urge any athlete that wants to get ahead of the competition to strongly consider training with Athletic Revolution”

SPEED CLINICS AND ACADEMIES
BEST FOR: Individual athletes ages 12 and up, or entire teams.
How This Program Works: We run 1-day speed clinics and 4-to-6 week long speed academies at select times throughout the year, but especially in the spring, summer and fall.
Spending 15 years fine-tuning a speed development system, we have created an engaging yet effective program structure that helps each individual athlete improve on and maximize their speed capabilities.
“I have definitely noticed improvement in foot speed in all the boys, which has directly translated into better defensive positioning as they shut down players driving to the basket, and provide better help defense. Their increased upper body strength has also led to more rebounds and loose ball possessions.
And not only is it a good team bonding exercise, but they’re having a blast!
We’re talking about 12 and 13 year old boys who look forward to the weekend so they can sleep in…yet every Saturday morning for months we’ve had 10 to 11 boys ready for their workout bright and early. Not one parent has had any problems dragging their kids to Power Source. And in fact, its probably been just the opposite with kids pushing parents so they won’t be late. I guess that alone is a testament to the success of the program.
And when the boys are walking out of the building with big smiles, joking about who won the last competition, and not really thinking about how hard they just pushed themselves…WOW! Getting kids at such young ages, looking forward to working out and staying healthy…that’s just great stuff!”
